From technical genius to environmental pollution, from guarantor of jobs to annoyance - the development of the legendary "Glanzstoff Factory" in St. Pölten. The plant in St. Pölten has been closed since 2008, but the Glanzstoff Group, which has become a market leader, is a global and still successful company with locations in the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Italy and China. Probably the largest district of St. Pölten, the capital of Lower Austria is created on the premises oft he old shiny fabric.
